    What is the best time and season to go fishing for Walleye? Well this question has a couple answers. Spring is one of the best times to fish for walleye. Walleye feed during low light conditions (dusk and dawn). They also prefer feeding during windy and rainy conditions. Spring is also spawning season for Walleye. It is imperative that we all work together to protect endangered species and their ecosystems. The money that goes towards licenses and tags to hunt, fish, and trap species with plentiful populations is used to directly fund the needs of species with less fortunate population numbers. These sporting activities are also a means of helping maintain healthy populations for the species that do thrive, thus, giving the species as a whole better and longer lives. We are trying to help keep our lands, water, and populations healthy for future generations of outdoor sportspeople.
